Alastair Parry

Graduate Technologist, PMO – County and City of Swansea

Alastair joined the Business Technology Consulting (BTC) programme at Capgemini in October 2007 after completing a BSc (hons) degree in Software Engineering from the University of Durham.  During his time at university he received extensive training and exposure to Java, Software Lifecycles and Project Management, as well as completing projects in C, C++, Haskell, J2ME, SQL, MySQL, Visual Basic and Microsoft Access.

Since joining Capgemini Alastair has worked on a number of bid documents for the Sales department and has contributed to the Sales knowledge management group.  Alastair has also worked within the Project Management group performing PMO based roles where he was in charge of the on-boarding process for a fast moving and high-pressured project.

John Reynolds

Graduate Technologist

John joined Capgemini in the February 2007 after graduating from Birmingham University with a BEng(Hons) in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Before joining Capgemini John worked for a medium sized recycling company in their accounts department, then moved into intranet and portal design for the company.

Since joining Capgemini on the Business Technology Consulting Programme (BTC) John has worked within the project management group performing PMO roles and assisting with creating documentation for an internal tool, and also within the Custom Software Development community; as a member of the support team.

Ben Henderson

Graduate Technologist

Ben joined Capgemini in the summer of 2007 after graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a BSc(Hons) in Computing. He spent the first 2 years after graduation working as a software tester for Symantec Corporation. He has experience with enterprise messaging systems and their legal compliance, along with litigation procedures using Symantec’s technologies. He has had experience of all areas of the software lifecycle from requirements gathering through to support.

Since joining Capgemini on the Business Technology Consulting Programme (BTC) he has worked within the Sales knowledge management group, and project management for a large government department. He is on the BTC to get experience of a variety of roles before choosing to specialise in a skill set.
